How Forever Changed My Life

A little about my journey—where I started, the challenges I faced, and how I found a new path that changed my life. I began my career at 17 when I joined the Women's Royal Army Corps. It was there that I developed skills in administration and office management. Skills that served me well as I transitioned into civilian life. Over the years, I worked across different sectors, from commercial businesses to not-for-profit organisations, and most recently, a non-departmental government body. Like many, I expected stability in my career, but life had other plans. My last two roles ended in redundancy, and I had no backup plan. I found myself at a crossroads. I knew one thing for sure; I no longer wanted to work in the city. But finding something local proved difficult, and I wasn't sure where to turn next. Then, an unexpected opportunity presented itself. A neighbour invited me to a product launch at her home, introducing me to Forever. That evening, I saw more than just products. I saw an opportunity. An opportunity to grow my pension, to build something for myself, and to take control of my future. But there was one problem: I was rather shy. Talking to people, putting myself out there was challenging. It took me some time to get started, but something kept me going. I realised that this journey wasn’t just about financial security; it was about personal growth. Through this experience, I have become a different person. I’ve gained confidence, developed new skills, and met some truly amazing people along the way. The personal development I’ve undergone has been life-changing, and today, I stand as proof that stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to incredible opportunities.
